Kali Temple Jamui

Located adjacent to the Railway station of the district town of Jamui in Bihar, the shrine dedicated to goddess Kali is a famous religious place in the Malaypur village of the district town. On the day of Diwali, when Goddess Kali is worshiped in West Bengal and Bihar, a fair, known as Kali Mela, is organised here on a grand scale. The fair which lasts for three days attracts devotees in large number who come here to view the illuminated temple.
