Shuklatirth: A Pilgrimage Place on Narmada

88 km from Vadodara, Shuklatirth is located in the district of Bharuch in Gujarat. A place of immense spiritual significance for the Hindus, this sacred place in Gujarat overlooks the river Narmada. The presiding deity of this holy temple is Shuklanarayan.

Tradition has it that Shuklatirth was visited by the Mauryan Emperor Chandragupta Maurya and his famed minister Chankya in 3rd century BC.
