Ananta Vasudeva Temple in Bhubaneswar

Barunei Hill

Located in the Khordha district of Odisha, Barunei hill is a scenic spot which attracts picnickers in large number.  32 km from the state capital Bhubaneswar and 4 km from Khurdha, Barunei hill is also famous for a shrine the presiding deity of which is Goddess Barunei.  The shadow mango groves with a perennial stream called Swarna Ganga provide a pleasant atmosphere tor the picnickers. The water of Swarna Ganga has medicinal properties.

Lord Nilamadhaba temple of Kantilo

100 km from the state capital of Bhubaneswar, Kantilo in the Nayagarh district of Odisha is famous for Lord Nilamadhaba temple near twin hills surrounded by green forest. This Vishnu temple is a miniature form of the Sri Jagannath Temple in Puri and observes similar rites rituals.  Permanent flow of holy water from the feet of Lord Nilamadhaba is a sight to behold. Lord Siddheswar is another highlight of this place. Kantilo is famous for bell metal craftsmen and their extraordinary craftsmanship.

Canary Hill, Hazaribagh

5 km from Hazaribagh town, Canari Hill is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Jharkhand. Surrounded by serene beauty all around, the hill houses a lovely park and is an ideal retreat far from the madding crowd.  The hill is also dotted with three small lakes that enhance the beauty of the place. From the peak of the hill, one can have a panoramic view of the Hazaribagh town. The greenery all around is a feast to one’s eyes.
