Why India should be your travel destination in 2021

With over 5,000 years of history encompassing the most wonderful ancient history in the world, few countries boast as much as India for historical sites, peerless treasures, and mystical intrigue.

With an area of 3.28 million square kilometers, India is a vast country. Start by exploring the amazing, bustling capital of New Delhi, wandering down the narrow alleys and making a trip to the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world.

Head west to the desert state of Rajasthan, known for its valour and architectural grandeur that find its expression in the forms of numerous grand palaces, forts and temples. Visit the romantic city of Udaipur, stop at Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Arrive in Mumbai, the most international and forward looking city in India, where visit to the Elephanta caves can be complemented. Head towards Goa, relaxing on the many beaches of the Arabian Sea. After visiting the churches of Goa, head further south to the state of Karnataka, where you will visit one of India’s most famous cities, Bangalore.

Travel further south and visit Kerala, the land of backwaters. The southern state of Kerala does justice to its sobriquet “God’s own Country”.

Whilst India is definitely on the tourist trail, the scenic grandeur of Himalayas, the thousands of years of history displayed in her thousands of temples, mosques and monuments and the vibrant reefs filled with turtles and reef sharks guarantee that even the most jaded of visitor will be awed by the enchanted magic of India.
